Why would anyone?
My fashion show watching virginity was lost to the MUGLER A/W ‘12 Womenswear show at the Audi Fashion Festival yesterday (16 May 2012).
It’s VERY different to see clothes on the Style.com website and on YouTube than in real life. The third-dimension of reality really added the much-needed depth and details to the clothes presented. And of course, Nicola Formichetti + Sebastien Peigne are geniuses.
Still very much in awe.
(Great company too! I’m totally framing my invite - with the awesome MUGLER logo on it.)

As if being creative director of Haus of Gaga, Vogue Hommes Japan and Uniqlo wasn’t enough, Nicola Formichetti is attempting to control more of the market with his own brand, set to premiere Spring 2013. Apparently the product will be “high-tech, digital and solar powered”. So no more pesky iPhone chargers, you can simply plug in to your buttonhole.
While I look forward to what may possibly be some interesting ideas from the man who gave us Gaga’s meat dress, the thought of the publicity storm we’ll all have to live through makes me want to move to a desert island before launch-time. -RS (Images, quote via WWD)
